Birthdays. Everywhere. Especially today.

Today was pretty awesome. Well, with Jesus, every day is inspires awe in me. Today is my birthday as I was born from my mother's womb on April 13th, 1986 at 6:55 in the evening. But my physical birth isn't to be celebrated as much as another birth we saw happen in front of our eyes. We met a gentlemen today who came in broken mess, but left a new creation (2nd Corinthians 5:17). God called him home today and like the prodigal son, he returned and he used us to reach him. I am humbled.

As we lead the Lima, Oh Salvation Army in worship and shared what was on our hearts, the Lord was speaking. I looked over our notes after washing and dressing and I prayed this morning that the Lord would say what he would through us. He certainly had a lot to say. We laughed, we cried, we sang, and we were very blessed.

It's so good to know that God didn't close the curtain on our drama because of the bomb we made of it. It's good news that out of His great love for us and his riches in mercy, that he breathes life into us and equips us do his Good works and bring him glory.

P.S. we got a lot of positive feedback on the OOH original, "Damaged". Keep your eyes and ears out for that one soon.

We will have a YouTube channel before the week is over. Keep a look out for "vlog" entries, snippets of our worship sessions, and original tunes brought to you by what's on our hearts.

New Art Work by Stacy Stacy

Ladies and gents, We have original artwork available at our Tee-Spring online storefront. This one was hand-painted by Stacy Stacy on a large canvas and scanned to digitize it. Right now, it's available as a wall tapestry for your bedroom, office, or lounge. The scripture verse on the head of the lion reads, "Do not conform to the Patterns of this world" from Romans 12:2. Keeping Hope

Hey guys, We hope this entry finds you in a posture of hope. As President Snow put it in The Hunger Games series, "Hope is the only thing stronger than fear. A little hope is effective. A lot of hope is dangerous." What he knew, and what we all felt when we heard him speak those words, was the truth of this claim. How many stories and heroes do you think would have been ignored by history if they gave up hope of the very best outcome from a really crappy situation? They hoped for something much, much better than what they were experiencing. I can imagine many of them hoping for a paradigm shift in how their people were treated, freedom. Many of them hoped for prosperity amid poverty. Many of them hoped that for a great evil to cease and many more simply hoped that the sickness would pass, so they held on. Many of us may feel like we're living that last one out. That's because we are. Television and cinema always kept the idea of a pandemic in the back of ou...
