Update for Ya'll, Chillicothe, We're coming! Schedule Change

This is an edit from the the last post regarding Cleveland, Ohio and the Dragon Slayerz. That is going to be rescheduled for 2015. Read below for the new plans.

We feel like we are gaining some ground. Most of that is taking place in our hearts. This passion, this fire for the Lord, his truth, his love, and for the church to wake up to that is growing. It's burning. It's consuming. It's awesome.

We have another opportunity to serve in Chillicothe at the Chillicothe Salvation Army on October 26th. We will have Stacy Stacy who is painting for us during the service and Shlanea Bloomfield joining us in prayer. We will be heading up there Friday (24th) evening and holding an open air on Saturday morning to afternoon. We will be blasting some Mineo or Crae, inviting people to be prayed for and over, handing out some gifts, and inviting others into a encounter with Jesus. It's going to be an awesome time. Please be in prayer for us as we go out to meet God where we have faith that he is preparing moments of Glory and kingdom life to take place. We really appreciate it.

That Sunday we will be hosting the service at "The Sal" and sharing that we are "more than conquerors" in Jesus Christ. The painting that Stacy will be presenting will reflect that message. If you are in Chillicothe, you don't want to miss out on that.

Pray that we are guided, not by our own ambitions, but exclusively by the Holy Spirit. Pray that money isn't an issue. Pray that our faith is strong. Pray that someone is drawn near to God and pray that someone meets him. Glory to God.

Training our hearts.

David and I are on this journey of serving within the ranks of The Salvation Army. We are learning so much. We have a lot on our hearts, and that includes you. We will be sharing those things through different mediums. We've been gathering our inspiration and our resources, drawing near to God and now we are ready to spill the beans. During my schooling/training, I've been given assignments that are creative expressions of what we are learning or developing. This is good timing as it's the first year that cadets in this school are expected to complete creative assignments, and I'm thriving in it. It excites me. I've  been able to let go of all internal inhibitions and excuses for not letting my light shine before men for the Glory of God. So having these opportunities for creative expression is like a bonus power you find in a game, right? Think mushrooms in Mario. It's very cool. He has given me talents and gifts and a soul and a song. Now we sing. I'm lo...

Moving Closer

MORE PRAYER! That's all we ask for this week. This weekend, we are planning to see what God is has prepared, a place for people to hear some serious truth. A testimony of God's character and will for our lives is rising up in us and we plan on unleashing it in Chilicothe, at The Salvation Army, through music, monologue, and testimony. We will be present on Saturday to invite others to worship, pray, and talk about Jesus, walking around town. This is a first for OOH, but it won't be a last. God is saying something to us and he is saying it to you! Join us to sing it out!

Keeping Hope

Hey guys, We hope this entry finds you in a posture of hope. As President Snow put it in The Hunger Games series, "Hope is the only thing stronger than fear. A little hope is effective. A lot of hope is dangerous." What he knew, and what we all felt when we heard him speak those words, was the truth of this claim. How many stories and heroes do you think would have been ignored by history if they gave up hope of the very best outcome from a really crappy situation? They hoped for something much, much better than what they were experiencing. I can imagine many of them hoping for a paradigm shift in how their people were treated, freedom. Many of them hoped for prosperity amid poverty. Many of them hoped that for a great evil to cease and many more simply hoped that the sickness would pass, so they held on. Many of us may feel like we're living that last one out. That's because we are. Television and cinema always kept the idea of a pandemic in the back of ou...
