On Our Hearts

Onward to Ashland. Ash-land? No...Not unless the Holy Spirit burns us up 'til there is only ashes of our former selves. This is what we're certainly hoping for. We believe God has something planned. He is already there preparing a place for a moment, a meeting, with his very self; an encounter that changes someone and causes them to leave themselves at the altar, never to pick them back up again, Hallelujah. We have secured Thursday, March 20th, 2014 at the Salvation Army Ashland Ray and Joan Kroc Center where Tyler Adcox will have a collection of teens from the community attending to join us in worship and to hear us speak about what's on our hearts. We pray that it becomes what is on their hearts and they don't leave the same. Today was pretty awesome. If you're alive in Christ, every day is pretty awesome if you reflect and meditate. But even in the context of awesome days, this Sunday stands out. Today was a divine appointment in which reflecting on it is almost overwhelming. So much happened that I almost don't feel like typing it all out. But you must know that the Kingdom is being advanced. Three weeks ago Pastor Howard Williams invited On Our Hearts to present the gospel at Victorious Life Christian Center in Tamarack Circle, Columbus, Ohio. Dave and I didn't know what to expect. We had never met the people of this church and only I had the privilege of meeting Pastor Howard previously. Last night we spent nearly three hours practicing, praying, and touching on the implications of scripture we so desperately felt needed to be heard. Blessings.  You are on our hearts and we sincerely hope you have seen God's blessing since our last update. A slight change of plans have occurred in our minds. David Webb will be MCing and speaking at the 2013 Rockin' Lock-In event being held at The Salvation Army Columbus Citadel on December 31. We've decided to participate musically about halfway through the night (3:00am). Hello . This is just a simple update. We are excited for the things that the Lord is doing in our lives and has been for the last few months. And most of it isn't even musical! He is forming models of Kingdom residents out of us. Our hope is that he never stops pouring into us and that we never close 1 molecule of ourselves off to His amazing work. God has not lead us onto a busy path with performance after performance or talk after talk. He has given us snippets of the possibilities such as a traveler who takes his time getting to know the people he meets traveling through the many towns. We have met more than amazing people. We have met some really interesting and exciting ideas for how we can reach others with the gospel, new ways to look at our health and bodies, new ways to look at nature and God's creation (mostly through disc golf). God is always making things new and refreshing. He does this mostly by opening our eyes little by little to his vision for Him and us. It...

On Our Hearts , as a band, feel we are ready to start actually doing our ministry. It's time for a little Prayer and Promo. Prayer being first.  Paul encourages us to pray with out ceasing! If you have something you need prayer for, or if you read a bible verse that stuck out to you, or if you have a thought or comment about something you read, post it. We will be constantly checking this page, and praying over the things you guys say. We will be responding to thoughts that you have. Promo is Second. We are promoting the Gospel with everything we stand on, and everything we are. Hopefully that is evident. We love God, and desire to know him serve, him with our lives, this is our way of doing that. Our Hope is that On Our Hearts won't just be us.
