On Our Hearts

Hey there! You haven't heard from us in a while. We've been doing some searching... or focusing on.... or distracted by....other things. But, keep coming back to this thing. We play too much Call of Duty. We "work" too much. We're broke. We need Jesus. I've got a ton of excuses why we haven't been out and about doing something worth typing up and sharing with anyone. It doesn't matter. Today is happening and we've still got things on our hearts. We're digging in and preparing for another season of OOH. Pray for us as we seek His face and answer the call.

MORE PRAYER! That's all we ask for this week. This weekend, we are planning to see what God is has prepared, a place for people to hear some serious truth. A testimony of God's character and will for our lives is rising up in us and we plan on unleashing it in Chilicothe, at The Salvation Army, through music, monologue, and testimony. We will be present on Saturday to invite others to worship, pray, and talk about Jesus, walking around town. This is a first for OOH, but it won't be a last. God is saying something to us and he is saying it to you! Join us to sing it out!

 This is an edit from the the last post regarding Cleveland, Ohio and the Dragon Slayerz. That is going to be rescheduled for 2015. Read below for the new plans. We feel like we are gaining some ground. Most of that is taking place in our hearts. This passion, this fire for the Lord, his truth, his love, and for the church to wake up to that is growing. It's burning. It's consuming. It's awesome. We have another opportunity to serve in Chillicothe at the Chillicothe Salvation Army on October 26th. We will have Stacy Stacy who is painting for us during the service and Shlanea Bloomfield joining us in prayer. We will be heading up there Friday (24th) evening and holding an open air on Saturday morning to afternoon. We will be blasting some Mineo or Crae, inviting people to be prayed for and over, handing out some gifts, and inviting others into a encounter with Jesus. It's going to be an awesome time. We want you to help. This is the life we strive for, pray for, and die for everyday. People getting to see God and come to Jesus. It's why this blog exist and why On Our Hearts is even a thing. We believe God is calling us to this life. We believe God has called all believers to a life filled and overflowing with the Holy Ghost and by it many will come to know the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and experience the love that God has for them. We had an awesome weekend. We were invited to come share with the folks of Delaware, Oh Salvation Army. They really felt the need to hear about BOLDNESS. So that's what we shared about. We shared how real love requires the boldness to risk being hurt by others. We shared how David in scripture exemplified boldness when he chose not to cower to his enemy but "ran quickly to the frontline" to face Goliath. We challenged the soldiership of all Salvation Army Soldier to be bold and take steps to fulfill God's calling on their lives. God's children are to bold and fearless and are to love others because they are worth the puke. Please continue to pray for us. As we we seemingly intravenously receive blessings from God, we sing the anthem from 1000 Generations , "Let this be not of our hands, but by your SPIRIT!" Why have been putting money and hope into what we believe we are called to do as disciples of Christ. I have recently re-inserted myself in the Open Mic Night culture fostered at Sam Ash Music Store and it is a joyful, beautiful thing. God brings about so much truth and talent to Morse Rd. every Wednesday night and I feel at one with music when I am there. David has returned from Jamaica, to the rain and ever alternating weather of Southern Ohio. He feels blessed to be back. He will be working at Camp Swoneky and preparing for the next foot of our journey of leading others into the truth of Christ and the worship of the one true God. Please continue to pray for us. Our friend Dave Webb has been lead to Jamaica this week. He left on Saturday with plans to pour some love onto them and share the gospel with them. In the months prior to this, Dave designed T-shirts and sold them, received unexpected donations, and plugged this trip to pay for it and now he is there being used by God for the greater good of the Kingdom. We have had minimal updates from him and that's good because the Lord has other plans for him than a vacation spent in Jamaica taking pictures. It's real Kingdom work and the rubber meets the road on this one. Please continue to pray for him and his team as they serve the people of Jamaica in any way they can. Praise God for the Lord being ahead of them and pray that he reveals opportunities to lead someone to Christ every day.
