Birthdays. Everywhere. Especially today.

Today was pretty awesome. Well, with Jesus, every day is inspires awe in me. Today is my birthday as I was born from my mother's womb on April 13th, 1986 at 6:55 in the evening. But my physical birth isn't to be celebrated as much as another birth we saw happen in front of our eyes . We met a gentlemen today who came in broken mess, but left a new creation ( 2nd Corinthians 5:17 ). God called him home today and like the prodigal son, he returned and he used us to reach him. I am humbled. As we lead the Lima, Oh Salvation Army in worship and shared what was on our hearts, the Lord was speaking. I looked over our notes after washing and dressing and I prayed this morning that the Lord would say what he would through us. He certainly had a lot to say. We laughed, we cried, we sang, and we were very blessed. It's so good to know that God didn't close the curtain on our drama because of the bomb we made of it. About On Our Hearts

Why we're here...

We are a couple of guys (and gals) with things on our hearts. Much of that has to do with God, love, life, music, and art. We desperately want to live up to our potential and seek God’s wisdom in doing just that.

We started out in different places doing similar things. We loved music and joined bands. We loved the church and attended it weekly. We found that we could be creative and that creativity was one of the most fulfilling aspects of our lives. Inevitably, we met each other, started jamming, talking, praying, and I guess you could say that it was getting pretty serious. But also fun.

While we continue to ebb and flow our different ways and vocations, we still want to impact our world with what God has placed on our hearts. This means life of the church, evangelism of the lost, and a life lived by the Spirit.

Paul encourages us to pray without ceasing! If you have something you need prayer for, or if you read a bible verse that stuck out to you, or if you have a thought or comment about something you read, post it. We will be constantly checking this page, and praying over the things you guys say. We will be responding to the thoughts that you have.

Our Hope is that On Our Hearts won't just be us. God is something that should be on all of our hearts and we are praying that this movement that is happening in the midst of us spreads outwards into our homes, families, churches, towns, cities, and countries.

We are all invited. We are all to share the responsibility. We are all On Our Hearts.

OOH Prayer

We believe in prayer. We believe that God responds to his people and his people pray for His will.

We are more than willing to pray for you. We consider it a duty and an act of worship. Everyone needs prayer. We were built for it. It’s how we communicate to our God, our Father. When we bring our troubles and praises to God, he listens and responds.

Whatever is on your heart, if you are willing to share, we would like to have on our hearts. We want to mourn with those who mourn and rejoice with those who rejoice. You have our confidence and our support.
